Another Vacant Space
Adam Nankervis founded "Another Vacant Space" on Mercer Street NYC in 1992. It has and still remain to be a project/installation and site specific gallery now temporarily located in Wedding, Berlin. Another Vacant Space has opened intermittently since its inception in an abandoned shop front on Mercer Street, Soho NYC 1992. It has manifested in Copenhagen, London and the Liverpool Biennale 2006. Varying programs and invitationals are in place where artists will and can use the space for multi media and installation based work and/or presentation. Artists talks, and film nights and an extensive series of surveys of multi-diciplinary arts. Another Vacant Space is a time-based, ephemeral, impermanent, installative and a performative project space.
