Old Works: Robert Langenegger

Robert Langenegger's solo exhibit "Old Works" is a retrospective exhibit of his drawings and artworks he did while growing up, looking back on them as studies for potential new works and/or expanded into bigger projects, including a trompe l'oleil of a brick wall that he'll be painting directly on the walls of Post Gallery's 2nd floor. This trompe l'oleil is an allusion to the hollow block works of Roberto Chabet and the ominous perimeter walls of rundown warehouses built from the post-war era, and which now became the canvas of youth gangs, emblazoning these concrete tabula rasas with their gangster tags and codes.
